From our consultation to the ordering appointment, I plan everything so you can simply enjoy moments with your family knowing they’ll be beautifully photographed. THE GUIDED PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE & HOW IT ALL WORKS
Once your photos are ready, we’ll meet to view a curated gallery of your finished images. We dream up and envision how you would like to enjoy your photos. You’ll have the opportunity to select photos for framed artwork, albums, prints, and digitals. The pressure of which images to select, what finishes to choose, and even installing the framing is taken off your list of to-dos. This will not become another unfinished project.
4: ORDERING APPOINTMENT
When you arrive, your wardrobe will be steamed and ready to put on. Relax, play with the kiddos, hold your baby close while we take your photos. Know that I will guide you through light posing and gentle guidance that takes the pressure off and allows you to be present in the moment.
3: PHOTO SESSION
Once hair & makeup is scheduled and we’ve chosen a location, you’ll visit my office where we’ll select outfits from my extensive client closet for you and your children, and style your entire family with guidance.
2: WARDROBE FITTING
After you inquire, we’ll meet on a quick call so I can hear more about your vision, your family, and walk through the experience and brainstorm ideas for your session. We will pick your session date(s) and talk about location options. You'll sign a portrait agreement, and pay a session fee to secure your spot on my calendar.

The most popular session for families is the sunset session outdoors, amongst the wildflowers, lakeside, or with the quintessential golden fields with giant oak trees. Do you really take care of everything?
Yes, everything! I know you’re busy parents, and I want to make this family, newborn, and maternity photography experience as easy as possible for you so you can be present in the moment and not be overwhelmed by it. I work with you to plan the location, what you’ll wear, taking into account naptimes, and the images that end up in albums and frames. It’s a full experience, not simply taking photos. Every detail is handled with care, so what remains is not just how it looked but how it felt.

Do we have to pick a location?
Not at all! I help you choose the best location based on how you want your photos to feel. We can photograph your family in your home, at my studio, or an outdoor location. If you have ideas about where you’d like your session to be, I’m excited to hear them. If not, I'm happy to make suggestions.

What is a session fee?
The session fee is an investment in a fully guided, full-service experience. It includes professional hair and makeup, access to the studio wardrobe for you and your children, personalized planning, location selection, your portrait session, and the artistry of professionally editing and retouching your images.
To reserve your session, a $375 fee is due at booking. Once your photographs are ready, we'll meet for a personalized design and ordering appointment where I'll help you select the artwork, albums, and digital images that will best preserve this season of your family's story.

What is an ordering appointment?
Once your photos are ready, we’ll meet to view a curated gallery of your finished images. We dream up and envision how you would like to enjoy your photos. You’ll have the opportunity to select photos for framed artwork, albums, prints, and digitals. Many families receive their digital gallery complimentary with their artwork purchase.

Is hair and makeup included in your session fee?
Yes! When you book a Signature session, professional hair and makeup, along with access to my client wardrobe for you and your children, are fully included. I book your hair and makeup appointment and handle all the logistics so you don't have to.

Do I have to commit to The Collective Membership now, or can I book a single session first?
You can book a newborn, maternity, or family session now, and then have the option to upgrade to The Collective Membership at your first ordering appointment. Joining early provides the greatest flexibility when reserving milestone dates throughout the year. All dates are first come, first serve.
